Kelly D. Ellsworth, Partner, Shinners & Ellsworth, PLC
Kelly Ellsworth is a dedicated and experienced attorney who has been practicing law in Saginaw and the surrounding Tri-City area for over a decade. With a broad range of legal knowledge and courtroom experience, Kelly provides sound, strategic representation across multiple practice areas, including criminal defense, family law, juvenile matters ( child protection and delinquency), estate planning, personal injury, and general civil litigation.
Born and raised in Saginaw, Kelly is a proud graduate of Swan Valley High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, and went on to complete his law degree through the accelerated program at Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude.
Kelly’s approach to legal practice is rooted in honesty, preparation, and responsiveness. He believes in building strong relationships with his clients and giving each case the personalized attention it deserves.
When not in the courtroom or at the office, Kelly enjoys spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their three children-Sophia, Luke, and Millie. His family keeps him grounded and active, with summers spent poolside, trips to Chicago, and quality time with extended family and friends. He’s also an avid sports fan, enjoys golfing, and proudly volunteers as a coach in youth athletics.
